Terms of use

Last updated: 15 October 2026.

MakeASkill is a free tool, based in the United Kingdom, that writes "skills" (instructions) to help your AI assistant help you. By using it you agree to these terms.

Using MakeASkill

• It's free, up to 5 skills a day. Please don't try to get round the limit or use the site to send email to people who didn't ask for it.
• Only ask for skills for lawful purposes, and don't include other people's personal information or anything confidential in your answers.
• You must be 13 or over to use MakeASkill.

Your skills

The skills we make for you are yours to use, change and share however you like.

Please check what your AI says

Skills are written by AI and can contain mistakes. They aren't legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Check anything important before you rely on it.

The service

We provide MakeASkill as it is, and we may change, pause or stop it at any time. We're not responsible for how other AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude) use your skill, or for changes they make to their apps. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have by law as a consumer.

Privacy

See our privacy policy for how we use your email address.
