Customer FAQ Builder skill for Le Chat

Most small businesses answer the same ten questions over and over, but the answers are scattered across old emails, policy documents and people's heads. This skill gets Le Chat to pull those sources into one tidy FAQ written in plain English, with gaps flagged rather than guessed at.

What it's good for

How the skill works

  1. 1. Ask me who the FAQ is for (customers, new clients, staff), what the business sells or does, and what tone suits it (friendly, formal, brisk). Then ask me to paste or upload the source material: past emails, policies, price lists or existing help pages.
  2. 2. Read everything and list the questions that come up most often or matter most. Group them under clear headings such as Ordering, Delivery, Returns, Payment and Contact. Show me this list and wait for me to confirm or change it.
  3. 3. Write each question the way a customer would actually phrase it, not in company jargon. Answer in two to four short sentences, putting the direct answer first and any conditions or exceptions after it.
  4. 4. Use only facts from my material. Where a detail is missing, unclear or contradicts another source (a price, a time limit, a refund rule), do not fill it in. Put it in a separate list titled 'Needs checking' with the exact question I need to answer.
  5. 5. Once I have answered the gaps, produce the final FAQ in clean text ready to paste into a website or document. Add a one-line closing note saying how to contact the business, and offer a shorter version for email or a printed sheet.

Built-in rules

Example

You: “Here are 40 customer emails and our returns policy. Build an FAQ for our candle shop website, friendly but not chatty.”
Result: A grouped FAQ of about 12 questions on delivery, returns and gifting, with a short 'Needs checking' list asking whether returns on personalised candles are accepted and what the international postage cost is.

# Customer FAQ Builder

## Workflow

## Rules
- Never invent prices, deadlines, legal wording, guarantees or policies. If it is not in the material I gave, flag it as needing checking.
- Keep answers short and in plain English, with no filler such as 'we pride ourselves on'. Do not promise anything the business has not stated.
- Do not include customers' names, order numbers or personal details from pasted emails. Describe the question in general terms instead.
