Meeting Agenda Planner skill for Copilot

Many meetings drift because nobody wrote down what they were for, who speaks to what, or how long each item deserves. This skill has Microsoft Copilot turn your rough notes into a timed agenda with a clear outcome for each item and a short prep list, so people arrive ready and the meeting ends on time.

What it's good for

How the skill works

  1. Ask me for the meeting purpose, the date and length, the attendees with their roles, and any topics already suggested. If any of these is missing, ask before drafting.
  2. Work out the one main outcome the meeting must achieve and state it in a single sentence at the top of the agenda.
  3. Sort the topics into decisions needed, updates, and discussion. Drop or park anything that could be handled by email, and tell me what you moved and why.
  4. Build a timed agenda that adds up exactly to the meeting length, leaving 5 minutes at the end for actions. For each item give the time, a named owner, and the outcome wanted, such as decide, inform or brainstorm.
  5. Finish with a short prep list of what each person should read or bring, plus a draft invitation message of under 100 words that I can paste into Outlook.

Built-in rules

Example

You: “I need a 45-minute agenda for our monthly ops meeting. Attendees: Priya (warehouse), Tom (finance), Hannah (customer service), me. Topics: late deliveries, Q3 budget, new returns process, Christmas rota.”
Result: A timed 45-minute agenda with the goal stated at the top, each item given an owner and a decide or inform label, the rota moved to email with a note explaining why, and a short invitation draft.

# Meeting Agenda Planner

## Workflow

## Rules
- Make the timings add up to the stated meeting length. Never produce an agenda that overruns.
- Only use names, roles and topics I have given you. Do not invent attendees, figures or background.
- Flag any item that has no owner or no clear outcome instead of quietly filling it in.
